The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases confirms 6 new active COVID-19 cases and 1 death reported today.
Among the new cases are two doctors, a husband and his wife, and two PDLs who are charged for drug offenses.
On the other hand, NEGOR-COV 710 the 29-year-old son of NEGOR-COV 672 from Barangay Calindagan is considered to have already recovered as certified by his attending physician.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla provided the profiles of the new COVID cases, as follows:
6 NEW POSITIVE CASES
1.NEGOR-COV 777 is a 40-year-old male Person Deprived of Liberty from Barangay Looc who was detained at the City PNP detention cell
2. NEGOR-COV 778 is a 39-year-old male Person Deprived of Liberty from Barangay Looc who was detained at the City PNP detention cell
3. NEGOR-COV 779 a 24-year-old female BPO employee from Barangay Junob
4. NEGOR-COV 780 is a 42-year-old female resident of Barangay Looc and a close contact of NEGOR-COV 682
5. NEGOR-COV 781 the 60-year-old wife of NEGOR-COV 782 and medical consultant from Barangay Bantayan
6. NEGOR-COV 782 the 56-year-old husband of NEGOR-COV 781 and medical consultant from Barangay Bantayan
DEATH: NEGOR-COV 776 the 50-year-old government employee who was Dead-on-Arrival in a private hospital (postmortem swab)
And based on the recent results of the RT-PCR swab tests 16 close contacts of COVID Positive Patients have since tested negative of COVID-19.
