Top officials of the City Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases and their counterparts in the Provincial IATF-MEID will enhance their partnership to prevent and mitigate the upsurge of COVID-19 cases in Dumaguete City.
In yesterday’s meeting it was agreed that the Provincial IATF-MEID will help in the contact tracing, supplement resources and coordinate in the dissemination of information to the public.
Among those who attended the meeting were City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla and Provincial IATF-MEID Incident Commander Dr. Liland Estacion along with DOH Provincial Head Dr. Socrates Villamor, Dondee Señeres, Adrian Sedillo Executive Director of Negros Oriental’s IATF-MEID, Dr. Dehuel Cuyacot of SUMC, Dr. Kenneth Coo of Holy Child Hospital, City DILG Officer Christopher Pastor, SK Federation President Renz Macion and personnel from the Philippine National Police.
All stakeholders have agreed to share best practices, information, resources and personnel as well as the most effective strategies to control the local transmission of COVID-19.
