City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reports that 7 new Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) are quarantined beginning today in the different isolation facilities.
Dr. Talla also informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management on Emerging Infectious Diseases that 7 PUMs completed on Sunday the 14-day quarantine without any medical incident, thus cleared to return to their families.
Of the 7 new PUMs: 1 is a Locally Stranded Individual from Cebu City; 4 Jail Officers from the Dumaguete City Jail; a priest who returned from a trip to California USA and 1 Returning Overseas Filipino from New York.
Meanwhile, of the current 297 PUMs: 153 are in designated hotel facilities, 53 are in the community isolation center, while 91 are in barangay isolation centers.
None of the PUMs seen and examined by the City Health personnel has shown signs and symptoms of ILI.
