With the recovery of 3 additional COVID-19 cases, City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reports that there are 6 remaining active cases in the City, who are all asymptomatic and isolated as of this afternoon.
Dr. Talla also informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that 13 individuals are quarantined beginning today in the different isolation facilities as Persons Under Monitoring or PUMs.
In contrast, 3 PUMs completed today the 14-day quarantine without any medical incident, thus cleared to return to their families.
Of the 13 new PUMs: 8 are Locally Stranded Individuals from Cebu City, Manila and Makati City; 1 private employee from Pagadian City; 1 Returning Overseas Filipino from Canada and 3 newly discharged COVID-19 patients who tested negative in the swab RT-PCR on November 2, 2020.
Meanwhile, of the current 284 PUMs: 144 are in designated hotel facilities, 52 are in the community isolation center, while 88 are in barangay isolation centers.
None of the PUMs seen and examined by the City Health personnel has shown signs and symptoms of ILI.
