Two (2) direct contacts of NEGOR-COV 191 have now recovered while 10 other Persons Under Monitoring for possible COVID-19 infection have tested negative in the swab RT-PCR results released on November 2, 2020.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo of the latest swab test results from the Department of Health; to wit:
RECOVERED NEGOR-COV 209, a 29-year-old Male, resident of Barangay Bantayan and client of NEGOR-Patient 191
RECOVERED NEGOR-COV 210, a 40-year-old Female, resident of Barangay Bantayan and client of NEGOR-Patient 191
NEGATIVE Eight (8) members of a family in Barangay Bantayan who were exposed to a COVID-19 Positive Case from Tayasan, who visited and slept at their home
NEGATIVE 2 female residents with no history of travel but who were reactive to rapid tests earlier
At present, there are 9 remaining active COVID-19 cases in the city, which is down from 11 cases a few days ago
Based on the most recent report from the Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force MEID, no new COVID cases were recorded in the city.
