Of the 363 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) seen and examined by the City Health workers, only 1 has manifested symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
However, City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that the lone ILI case, a 12-year-old female with fever and sore throat already tested negative in the swab RT-PCR examination.
On the other hand, 35 PUMs completed today the 14-day quarantine without any medical incident, thus cleared to return to their families.
There are 28 individuals who are quarantined beginning today as PUMs in the different isolation facilities.
Of the 28 PUMs: 1 is an OFW from Singapore; 10 Locally Stranded Individuals from Manila and Cebu City, 2 Authorized Persons Outside of Residence from Manila; 13 members of the Philippine Coast Guard from Cagayan De Oro City and 2 close contacts of a COVID Positive Case from San Carlos City and NEG-OR-COV 201.
Meanwhile, of the 363 PUMs: 140 are in designated hotel facilities, 72 are in the community isolation center, while 151 are in the barangay isolation centers.
