City Traffic and Management Office Chief Gilbert Ablong notifies the riding public that several streets and peripheries of the different public and private cemeteries and memorial parks in Dumaguete City will be adjusted and modified in view of the scheduled visiting hours and days in observance of KALAG-KALAG SEASON starting OCTOBER 20, 2020 up to OCTOBER 28, 2020 and NOVEMBER 5 up to NOVEMBER 7, 2020 from 6:30AM TO 7:30PM.
The traffic adjustments will be enforced pursuant to Executive Order No. 22 series of 2020 of Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo. The affected streets are:
1. A portion of San Jose Extension (Bogo) bounded by Dela Viña Street and Larena Drive be designated as ONE-WAY Traffic from East to West direction;
2. Road going to Chinese cemetery be designated ONE-WAY Traffic from East to West direction;
3. The eastern and southern peripheries of Bagacay and Everlasting Cemeteries are designated Pedestrianized Zones or walking streets.
To avoid delay of travel, the riding public is advised to take alternative routes during the aforementioned dates and times.
