The Sidlakan Negros Eagles Club celebrated its 2nd Charter Anniversary highlighted with the induction of Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, 2nd District Congressman Manuel Sagarbarria and 24 other new members in elaborate rites last Saturday.
Top officers of Sidlakan Negros Eagles Club led by President Franklin H. Pag-ong, Vice-President Dennis Furbeyre and Central Visayas Governor Romulo Carillo Jr. welcomed the new members and reiterated their common guiding principle of “service through strong brotherhood.”
Among the members of the local Eagles Club are Amlan Mayor Manuel Jose C. Sycip, media practitioners Choy Gallarde, Neil Rio, Glenn Serion and Noel Ramirez along with some barangay officials.
Sidlakan Negros Eagles Club is one of the chapters of the national Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagle regarded as the first Philippine-Born Socio-Civic Organization, which count among its members prominent and distinguished personalities in the Philippine government and private sector, who are united to volunteering and rendering humanitarian service to the community.
