City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reports that 7 individuals are quarantined beginning today as Persons Under Monitoring or PUMs in the different isolation facilities.
Dr. Talla also informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that 11 PUMs completed today the 14-day quarantine without any medical incident, thus cleared to return to their families.
Of the 7 new PUMs: 3 are OFWs from China, Dubai and Kuwait; 2 Locally Stranded Individuals from Makati City and Pasig City; 1 Returning Overseas Filipino from USA and 1 mall supervisor from E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental.
Meanwhile, of the current 232 PUMs: 118 are in designated hotel facilities, 57 are in the community isolation center, while 57 are in barangay isolation centers.
Meanwhile, a PUM, who was reported yesterday as a case of person with Influenza Like Illness or ILI does not have any symptoms today hence, none of the 232 PUMs seen and examined are considered as ILI.
