Members of the City Development Council approved today the 2021 Annual Investment Program with a corresponding budget of P 900 million to fund the various expenditures for next year.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of CDC, also presented the various infrastructure projects currently implemented by the City Government in coordination with the Office of Cong. Manuel Sagarbarria, DPWH and the provincial government.
Present in today’s CDC General Assembly are Cong. Sagarbarria; Councilor Lilani Ramon, Chairperson of the Finance and Appropriation Committee; the 30 Punong Barangays and representatives of Non-Government Organizations.
As proposed, next year’s P 900 million budget is divided as follows: Personal Services P 367.4 million; Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) P 388.9 and Capital Outlay at P 143.6 million.
Once the proposed budget for 2021 is submitted, the City Council will conduct deliberations before passing the required appropriation ordinance.
