For the second time, the owners of Lee Super Plaza donated to the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases some 2, 500 pieces of cloth face masks, 185 KN95 face masks and 2, 000 face shields to be used by the frontliners and Persons Under Monitoring or PUM.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo and City Health Officer Ma. Sarah B. Talla received the donated items from Lee Super Plaza, represented by Eissen Lee in a brief turnover last Wednesday.
Both Mayor Remollo and Dr. Talla expressed gratitude to the continued support of the Lee family to the frontliners, who face the challenges of managing the COVID-19 pandemic on a daily basis.
The donation is a testament to the confidence of the private sector to the efforts of the City IATF in keeping the city safe from coronavirus.
