13 NEW PUMS QUARANTINED; 15 WERE RELEASED
Thirteen (13) new Persons Under Monitoring arrived and quarantined beginning today along with 266 other PUMs in the different isolation facilities.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reports to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that 15 PUMs completed today the 14-day quarantine without any medical incident, thus cleared to return to their families.
The 13 new PUMs, who were quarantined today include: 5 Locally Stranded Individuals from Aklan and Cebu City; 2 OFWs from Qatar and Hongkong; 1 Medrep from Cebu City; 1 Audit Officer from Cebu City; 1 BPO employee from Liloan Cebu and 3 students from Cebu, Dapitan and Silay City.
Meanwhile, of the current 279 PUMs: 126 are in designated hotel facilities, 81 are in the community isolation centers, while 72 are in barangay isolation centers.
None of the PUMs seen and examined by the City Health workers manifested symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
