Three (3) new Persons Under Monitoring or PUMs begin their quarantine today to include 1 OFW from Kuwait, 1 Locally Stranded Individual from Manila and 1 newly discharged patient from a local hospital.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla also reported to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, that four (4) PUMs were released today after completing the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities without showing any signs and symptoms of Influenza Like Illness or ILI.
Presently, there are 234 PUMs: 127 are in designated hotel facilities, 42 are in the community isolation center and 65 are in barangay isolation centers.
None of the PUMs seen and examined by the City Health Workers have shown symptoms of ILI.
