City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, that five (5) Locally Stranded Individuals tested negative in RT-PCR based on the most recent results released by the Department of Health Regional Office 7.
The five LSIs, who were swabbed last week and found negative of COVID-19, are:
A 24-year-old female, LSI from Manila and resident of Barangay Pulantubig
A 49-year-old mother and her 18-year-old son, LSIs from Las Piñas City, who are residents of Barangay Bantayan
A couple in their 70s, LSIs from Taguig City, who are residents of Barangay Banilad.
Even if they have been cleared of COVID-19, the 5 residents will not be released from quarantine unless they complete the required 14-day isolation period.
The City has no active COVID-19 case as of September 14, 2020.
