The sixteen (16) close contacts of a COVID Case (a health worker from Inapoy Community Hospital) are among the 20 city residents were found negative of COVID-19 in the latest release of swab test results from the Department of Health Region 7.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reported to Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo that among those who tested negative are close contacts of the health worker of Inapoy Community Hospital and passengers on board the same sweeper flight with COVID positive cases from another town.
Specifically, those who tested negative in the latest RT-PCR swab results are:
 16 Close contacts of a COVID Positive Case from Inapoy Community hospital include residents of Barangays Batinguel, Bantayan, Taclobo, Cadawinonan and Northern Junob
 3 co-passengers of a sweeper flight with COVID Positive Cases from another town
 1 Person Under Monitoring (PUM), a resident of Barangay Calindagan who refused to be admitted in the COVID ward of a local hospital
Nevertheless, even if they tested negative of COVID-19, Dr. Talla said that they will only be released from isolation only after completing the 14-day quarantine period considering that they are direct contacts of COVID Positive Cases.
