Due to the need to clear the worksite of the ongoing construction of a full span concrete Banica Bridge near the BIR area, NORECO II regrets to inform you that there will be a scheduled power service interruption on Sunday, September 6, 2020 from 7:00AM to 10:00 AM.
This to ensure that workers of NORECO II will be able to relocate double circuit three phase primary backbone poles, replace B-phase pole in Northern Junob in front of Silliman Heights and clear vegetation along the scheduled affected areas.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo said that the power outage is necessary so that NORECO II workers will be able to safely perform the necessary activities and facilitate the ongoing civil works of the concrete bridge.
NORECO II said that the areas affected are those serviced by Feeder 8 of Bagacay Substation covering Northern Junob, Bagacay, Lower Batinguel up to Batinguel Elementary School, Perdices St., Rizal Boulevard area, San Jose St., San Jose Ext., San Juan St., part of Ma. Christina St., part of Sta. Catalina St., Meciano Road, V. Locsin St., Taclobo, Cervantes St. and Perpetual Church area in Dumaguete City

All works may be finished ahead of time and power may be restored earlier than scheduled. Hence, consider the lines to be always energized. Member-customer-owners in the affected areas are advised to take the necessary precautions.
