Six (6) city residents tested NEGATIVE based on the latest release of RT-PCR swab results as confirmed by the Department of Health Region 7, Sunday.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla identified the residents to be:
1. An 83-year-old male with no history of travel, who was refused hospital admission
2. A 42-year-old male, LSI with a history of travel to South Africa and was admitted in a Manila hospital prior to arrival
3. A 24-year-old male, LSI with a history of travel to Quezon City and was also admitted at a hospital in Manila prior to arrival
4. A 48-year-old male, APOR with a history of travel to Cebu City, a COVID positive but has since recovered
5. A 68-year-old male, ILI from Siquijor referred to a pulmonologist and with ongoing dialysis treatment
6. A 27-year-old female, with no history of travel and a close contact of a COVID suspect who died last August 25, 2020 at NOPH
There are currently 223 Persons Under Close Monitoring (PUMs) at the different isolation facilities and shall be swabbed for RT-PCR test should any of their medical conditions per individual assessment of the health workers warrant the need to do so.
