12 NEW PUMS QUARANTINED STARTING TODAY
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, that twelve (12) new Persons Under Monitoring started today bringing the total number of PUMs to 260.
The 10 new PUMs who started their quarantine today include: 1 cargo truck helper from Zamboanga; 1 Returning Overseas Filipino from Dubai; 3 OFWs from UAE and Turkey and 7 Locally Stranded Individuals from Manila, Paranaque, Valenzuela, Pasay, Makati and Cavite.
Of the 260 PUMS: 97 are quarantined in designated hotel facilities, 48 are in the community isolation center and 115 in the barangay isolation facilities.
None of the PUMs seen and examined by the City Health workers manifested symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
Finally, ten (10) PUMs were released after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities.
