ALL 172 PUMS SHOW NO SYMPTOMS OF INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (ILI)
The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases reports today that none of the 172 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) seen and examined by the City Health workers manifested symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla also informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s IATF, that sixteen (16) PUMs were released today as they remained asymptomatic until they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Meanwhile, thirteen (13) PUMs begin quarantine today to include 9 Locally Stranded Individuals from Bohol and 4 OFWs from Saudi Arabia, UAE and Vietnam.
Of the 172 PUMS: 87 are in designated hotel facilities, 32 are in the community isolation center, 53 are in barangay isolation facilities.
Since the City’s IATF quarantined all returning residents beginning February 2020, about 1, 912 (191 of them are OFWs and 598 LSIs) have been released and rejoined their respective families after completing the mandatory quarantine without showing any symptoms of ILI.
