The number of Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) increased slightly to 167 after 36 new PUMs begin their quarantine today.
On the other hand, City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla reports to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, said that twenty-two (22) PUMs were released from isolation after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities without showing any signs and symptoms of Influenza Like Illness or ILI.
The 36 new PUMs are: 13 Locally Stranded Individuals from Cagayan De Oro City, Lapu-lapu City, Cebu City and Bacolod City; 6 OFWs from Korea, Singapore, Amsterdam, Qatar, China and USA; 5 Returning Overseas Filipinos from Spain and Korea; 1 missionary from Davao City; 3 APORs from Cebu City and Sulu; 1 cancer patient with a family member; 1 newly discharged patient from a local hospital; 3 medical representatives from Bacolod City and 2 newly released PDL from the City Jail.
Of the 167 PUMs: 82 are in designated hotel facilities, 34 are in the community isolation center, while 51 are on home quarantine or in barangay isolation centers.
None of the PUMs seen and examined by the City Health Workers have shown symptoms of ILI.
