Ten (10) individuals, two of them are health workers, are quarantined beginning today joining 146 other Persons Under Monitoring or PUMs at the different isolation facilities.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla also informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that 20 individuals completed today the 14-day quarantine without any medical incident, thus cleared to go back in the company of their families.
The 10 new PUMs are: 1 newly released hospital patient with negative result of RT-PCR test; 1 OFW from Riyadh Saudi Arabia; 1 Authorized Person Outside of Residence (APOR); 1 jail officer; 4 persons with history of exposure to deceased COVID positive case and 2 health workers with exposure to a COVID positive case.
Of the 156 PUMs: 67 are in designated hotel facilities, 20 are in the community isolation center, 1 student from Zamboanga Del Norte, 1 teacher from Siquijor while 67 are on home quarantine or in barangay isolation centers.
None of the 156 PUMs examined showed signs and symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
