The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases reports today that none of the 166 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) seen and examined by the City Health workers manifested symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla also informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s IATF, that four (4) PUMs were released today as they remained asymptomatic until they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Meanwhile, of the 166 PUMS: 81 are in designated hotel facilities, 25 are in the community isolation center, 58 are on home quarantine or in barangay isolation facilities, one student from Zamboanga Del Norte and one teacher from Siquijor.
Nine PUMs begin quarantine today to include a jail officer; a woman with respiratory condition but was negative in RT-PCR test; 3 OFWs from Germany, Japan and Europe and 4 Locally Stranded Individuals from Cebu City and Manila.
Since the City’s IATF quarantined all returning residents beginning February 2020, about 1, 729 (148 of them are OFWs and 525 LSIs) have been released and rejoined their respective families after completing the mandatory quarantine without showing any symptoms of ILI.
