TOTAL PUMs STILL 161 AS 11 BEGIN QUARANTINE
Eleven (11) Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) were released from the isolation centers of the City Government after completing the mandatory quarantine period duly approved by Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease.
However, eleven (11) new PUMs also started their quarantine today. They include 5 Locally Stranded Individuals from Manila and Davao City; one senior citizens, who is sickly; 1 private employee from Mandaluyong City and 4 OFWs from Dubai, Cambodia, Hongkong and Australia.
At present, City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reports that there are 161PUMs who have not presented any symptoms of Influenza Like Illness or (ILI).
Of the 161 PUMs: 75 are in designated hotel facilities, 24 are in the community isolation center, one teacher from Siquijor, a student from Zambaonga Del Norte and 47 are in barangay isolation centers or home quarantine.
