6 PUMs CLEARED FOR RELEASE; 10 BEGIN QUARANTINE
Six Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) were released from the isolation centers of the City Government after completing the mandatory quarantine period and duly approved by Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease.
However, ten (10) PUMs also started their quarantine today. They include 6 Locally Stranded Individuals from Manila, Lapu-lapu City and Dipolog City as well as 4 OFWs from China, Thailand, Africa and Singapore.
At present, City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reports that there are 166 PUMs who have not presented any symptoms of Influenza Like Illness or (ILI).
Of the 166 PUMs: 94 are in designated hotel facilities, 17 are in the community isolation center, 47 are in barangay isolation centers or home quarantine while 8 are medical interns or returning student.
