(JULY 22, 2020) COVID STATUS UPDATE
ALL 162 PUMS HAVE NO SYMPTOMS OF INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (ILI)
The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases reports today that none of the 162 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) seen and examined by the City Health workers manifested symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force EID, that ten (10) PUMs were released today after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities without medical incidents.
Meanwhile, of the 162 PUMS: 90 are in designated hotel facilities, 5 are students; 22 are in the community isolation center while 45 are on home quarantine or in barangay isolation facilities.
Finally, eight (8) newly arrived PUMs were placed on strict quarantine today.
These include: 2 OFWs, 2 Locally Stranded Individuals from Cagayan De Oro City; 1 Authorized Person Outside of Residence or APOR; 1 cancer patient; 1 Returning Overseas Filipino or ROF from Singapore and 1 Person Deprived of Liberty who was acquitted in a court case and released from jail.
