ONE PUM RELEASED; 2 OFWs BEGIN QUARANTINE
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reports that only one (1) Person Under Monitoring was released today after he completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the isolation facility without showing any signs and symptoms of Influenza Like Illness or ILI.
Dr. Talla also informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that two (2) OFWs from Oman and Turkey started their quarantine today and are now closely examined by the health workers.
Of the remaining 144 PUMs: 38 are OFWs, 86 are Locally Stranded Individuals, 3 are Returning Overseas Filipinos and 17 are other returning residents.
Furthermore, seventy-six (76) of them are quarantined in designated hotel facilities, 20 are in the community isolation center, 6 are medical interns and students, while 42 are in the barangay isolation facilities or under home quarantine.
