16 PUMs RELEASED; NO ILI CASES RECORDED
Sixteen (16) Persons Under Monitoring or PUMs were released after completing the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities without showing any signs and symptoms of Influenza Like Illness or ILI.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla also reports to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, that none of the 139 PUMs currently in strict isolation have manifested ILI.
Meanwhile, twenty-six (26) PUMs begin their quarantine today: 2 Jail officers; 2 Persons Deprived of Liberty released from City Jail; 1 Fireman from Cebu City, 4 OFWs from Norway, Qatar, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia, 1 Returning Overseas Filipino (ROF) from USA, 9 Locally Stranded Individuals from Bataan, Manila and Cavite and 7 medical interns from Dapitan City, Pagadian City, Lanao Del Norte, Oroquieta City, Zamboanga Sibugay and Davao Del Norte.
Of the 139 PUMs: 81 are in designated hotel facilities, 19 are in the community isolation center, 1 Filipino student from Japan while 38 are on home quarantine or in barangay isolation centers.
