The number of Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) dropped further to 109 after 30 PUMs completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities without showing any signs and symptoms of Influenza Like Illness or ILI were released today

City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla also reports to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that 12 new PUMs arrived today.

The additional PUMs include 3 PDEA agents from Cebu City, 1 police officer from Cebu City, 1 BFP Officer from Las Pinas, 2 OFWs from Australia and Korea, 1 newly discharged hospital patient, 4 Locally Stranded Individuals from Manila and Bacolod City. All of them are now on strict quarantine.

Of the remaining 109 PUMs: 19 are in designated hotel facilities, 19 are in the community isolation center, 9 are returning students from Japan while 31 are on home quarantine or in barangay isolation centers.

Furthermore, 25 of them are OFWs, 66 are LSIs, 9 Returning Overseas Filipinos while 9 are returning residents or under quarantine as part of standard procedure.

None of the PUMs seen and examined by the City Health Workers have shown symptoms of ILI.
