In the recent meeting of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases chaired by Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Provincial Director Nimfa Virtucio of Department of Trade and Industry stressed that food establishments need to follow health protocols to include the frequent use of disinfectant, social or physical distancing, wearing of face masks and to operate at 50% capacity with dine-in services but without alcohol beverages.

Virtucio said that: “We requested for the reopening of the 50% of business not because it is safe but because the economy needs it. So dili dapat mag relax ang mga establishments unta and the public nga komo 50% open safe na ta, it doesn’t mean that nag open lang ug 50% safe na ta, do not say that. The economy needs lang gyud for these businesses to open kay arun nay semblance ug normalcy sa atung life. So dili gihapon dapat morelax.”
