ALL 125 PUMS HAVE NO SYMPTOMS OF INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (ILI)
The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases reports today that none of the 125 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) seen and examined by the City Health workers manifested symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that only two (2) PUMs were released today after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities.
Meanwhile, of the 125 PUMS: 52 are in designated hotel facilities, 8 Filipino students who returned from Japan; 24 are in the community isolation center while 41 are on home quarantine or in barangay isolation facilities.
Finally, six (6) newly arrived PUMs were placed on strict quarantine today.
These include: 4 OFWs from the United States, Bahrain and Dubai and 2 Locally Stranded Individuals from Bacolod City.
