138 PUMS SHOWS NO SYMPTOMS OF INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (ILI)
The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases reports today that none of the 138 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) seen and examined by the City Health workers manifested symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that fifteen (15) PUMs were released today after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities.
Meanwhile, of the 138 PUMS: 67 are in designated hotel facilities, 31 are in the community isolation center while 40 are on home quarantine or in barangay isolation facilities.
Also today, 24 additional PUMs are on strict quarantine.
These include: 8 OFWs from Thailand, Florida USA, Dubai, Japan, California USA and Kuwait; 1 Returning Overseas Filipino from New York; 13 Locally Stranded Individuals from Siquijor, Davao City and Manila and 2 recently discharged hospital patients.
