ONLY 1 PUM ARRIVED TODAY; 28 RELEASED FROM QUARANTINE

The number of Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) dropped further to 130 after 28 PUMs were released today after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities without showing any signs and symptoms of Influenza Like Illness or ILI.

City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla also reports to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, said that only one PUM was added today, an OFW from Barbados, British islands.

Of the remaining 130 PUMs: 34 are in designated hotel facilities, 54 are in the community isolation center while 42 are on home quarantine or in barangay isolation centers.

Furthermore, 30 of them are OFWs, 88 are LSIs while 12 are returning residents or under quarantine as part of standard procedure.

None of the PUMs seen and examined by the City Health Workers have shown symptoms of ILI.
