The City’s Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons fielded questions and clarifications with the panel of officials from different agencies on the basics on how to open a bank account in order to properly utilize their SK funds.
Speakers during Monday’s lecture also shared tips to SK officials on how to maximize the use of their funds consistent with the priority projects that are most needed in their respective barangays.
SK funds is equivalent to 10% of the general fund of the barangay.
Based on estimates, the SK funds per barangay range between P 130, 000 to P850, 000 maximum to be appropriated for projects and activities that promote the welfare and interests of the youth.
