161 PUMS SHOWS NO SYMPTOMS OF INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (ILI)

The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases reports today that none of the 161 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) seen and examined by the City Health workers manifested symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).

City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla also informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that twenty-one (21) PUMs were released today after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities.

Meanwhile, of the 161 PUMS: 76 are in designated hotel facilities, 38 are in the community isolation center while 47 are on home quarantine or in barangay isolation facilities.

Also today, five (5) Overseas Filipino Workers arrived from Saudi Arabia, Canada and from Indonesia. They are now on strict quarantine.
