ALL 206 PUMS SHOW NO SYMPTOMS OF INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS (ILI)

The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases reports today that none of the 206 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) seen and examined by the City Health workers manifested symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).

City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla also informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that Nineteen (19) PUMs were released today after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities.

Meanwhile, of the 206 PUMS: 100 are in designated hotel facilities, 68 are in the community isolation center while 38 are on home quarantine or in barangay isolation facilities.

Also today, 25 Locally Stranded Individuals, 1 who was discharged from hospital and 1 uniformed personnel. They are now on strict quarantine.
