City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that COVID Patient No. 4 tested negative of coronavirus based on the laboratory result of the RT-PCR repeat swab test.

The 33-year-old female remained asymptomatic while in isolation and is now recovered.

Her partner, COVID Patient No. 3 a 48 year-old male with history of travel in Cebu City, is still in the hospital and has also shown improving health condition.

Meanwhile, 25 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) completed the 14-day quarantine without any medical incident and were released today, July 2, 2020.

Their release bring down the current number of PUMs to 200: 93 are in designated hotel facilities, 67 are in the community isolation center while 40 are in barangay isolation facilities or home quarantine.

Also today, 12 additional PUMs arrived today and subjected to quarantine procedure to include: 3 OFWS, 2 Returning Overseas Filipinos and 7 Locally Stranded Individuals.

None of the 200 PUMs examined showed signs and symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).

As of today, 1, 317 individuals have completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine since March 2020 and back in their respective families including 80 OFWs and 291 LSIs.
