62 PUMS RELEASED; NO SYMPTOMS OF ILI FOR REMAINING 213

City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that 62 Persons Under Monitoring were released today after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities without showing any signs and symptoms of Influenza Like Illness or ILI.

At present, none of the remaining 213 PUMs: 12 OFWs, 175 Locally Stranded Individuals and 26 other returning residents examined by City Health Workers have shown symptoms of ILI as well.

TNinety (90) PUMs are presently in designated hotel facilities, 81 are in the community isolation center while 42 are in the barangay isolation facilities or under home quarantine.

Also today, 13 new PUMs were subjected to quarantine: 3 OFWs from Barbados, Korea and Thailand; 9 LSIs from Lapu-lapu City, Mandaue City, Manila, Cavite, and Zamboanga Del Sur and one newly discharged hospital patient with negative RT-PCR swab test result.
