28 PUMs RELEASED TODAY; NONE OF 300 PUMS SHOW ILI

Twenty-eight (28) Persons Under Monitoring or PUMs were released today after completing the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities without showing any signs and symptoms of Influenza Like Illness or ILI.

In contrast, eleven (11) PUMs arrived today: 1 OFW; 9 Locally Stranded Individuals and 1 jail officer.

City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sara B. Talla also reports to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases, that the two COVID patients are showing progress in their health status while remaining in strict isolation.

There are now 300 PUMs: 135 are in designated hotel facilities, 109 are in the community isolation center while 56 are on home quarantine or in barangay isolation centers.

Furthermore, 9 of them are OFWs, 268 are LSIs while 23 are returning residents or under quarantine as part of standard procedure.

None of the PUMs seen and examined have shown symptoms of ILI.
