Eighteen (18) Persons Under Monitoring or PUMs have completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine without any medical incident have been released and may soon be able to return to their respective jobs and trade according to City Health Officer Maria Sarah B. Talla. In contrast, 9 Locally Stranded Individuals from neighboring provinces and Luzon begin their quarantined today.

Currently, there are 245 PUMs under close examination by the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases chaired by Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo.

The PUMs are admitted in the designated hotel facilities (95), Community Isolation Center (81) while the remaining 69 others are in the different isolation facilities in the barangays or at home.
