With the arrival of 11 new Locally Stranded Individuals today (June 15), the City Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases reports that there are now a total of 256 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) but none of them, after due examination, have manifested any signs and symptoms of Influenza Like Illness or ILI.

City Health Officer Ma. Sarah B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the IATF, that of the 256 PUMs: 108 are in the designated hotel facilities, 82 are admitted in the community isolation center while 66 are under home quarantine.

The City’s IATF has mobilized health workers, private volunteer organizations and barangay officials throughout the jurisdiction to ensure that all the local protocols are enforced and observed as a means prevent any local transmission of the dreaded coronavirus and to promptly contain should there be any threat thereof.
