Several sets of complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) were received by Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo and members of the City Council to be utilized by health workers deployed in the fight against COVID-19.

According to Councilor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, the PPEs were donated by the Sacred Heart School – Hijas de Jesus Batch 2006 through Police Colonel Crisaleo Tolentino, former Chief-of-Police of Dumaguete City.

Present during the turnover are Councilors Tolentino-Maxino, Michael Bandal, Lilani Ramon, Edgar Lentorio Jr. and Bernice Elamaco.

The alumni expressed gratitude to the health workers and other frontliners for making “sacrificial service for the Filipino People” and quoted the scriptures: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)
