In compliance to the directive of the Department of Interior and Local Government, the City Health Office is issuing medical certificates for Locally Stranded Individuals who would like to go back to their home provinces.

Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo assigned three medical doctors and transferred the examination area at Burgos Street for ample space and to enforce social/ physical distancing among the LSIs who are students, workers and other outbound residents.

City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla said that the medical clearance certificate will indicate that Locally Stranded Individuals did not develop any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 within the 14-day period of home quarantine prior to the issuance of the certificate and that the LSI is fit to travel.
