Twenty-four (24) newly-arrived residents and OFWs were admitted today in different isolation centers and designated hotels to undergo the mandatory quarantine. The new admissions bring the total number of Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) to 183 as of June 3, 2020.

Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force COVID-19, instructed City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla to intensify the monitoring of the PUMs and to ensure that their basic needs are met.

Of the 183 PUMs, 115 are males while 68 are females. There are currently 26 OFWs, 101 are Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI) including those from NON-COVID areas and 56 are recently discharged hospital patients, government and private employees.

Sixty-eight (68) of the PUMs are in designated hotel facilities while the rest are quarantined in government facilities that are regularly and strictly monitored by the health workers.
