The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force COVID-19 reports that there are 152 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) in various designated isolation facilities in Dumaguete City, who have so far not shown or manifested any Influenza Like Illness (ILI) as of Monday evening.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s IATF, was also informed by City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla that the results of nasopharyngeal swab tests conducted to 6 residents were negative.
Of the 152 PUMs, 97 are males while 55 are females. About 63 of the PUMs are quarantined in the designated hotel facilities while 89 are in various government isolation centers. There is no Person Under Investigation or PUI.
Two PUMs, who are asymptomatic, have completed the 14-day quarantine period. While of the 11 newly admitted PUMs: 2 are workers; 2 jail officers and 7 OFWs.
