Major streets of the City are less congested following the imposition of the “Easy Access Pass” for both residents and non-residents upon entry in private establishments and the public market.

Being a Tuesday, non-residents from the 3rd District are granted access to the establishments along with the residents of Dumaguete City to do their shopping and other transactions.

Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo urged both residents and non-residents to comply with restrictions in both movement and transportation to maintain the early gains in the fight against COVID-19 while the city remains under General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

Non-residents are required to present their Quarantine Pass issued by their respective LGUs:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday for those from 1st and 2nd Districts
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for those from the 3rd District

City Residents with RED Passes are allowed to enter the establishments on Monday, Wednesday and Friday while PURPLE Passes are scheduled on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Non-residents are not allowed on Sundays, which is reserved for residents only. Health workers and emergency cases are exempted from the requirement of passes.

Enforcers are also instructed to strictly impose the use of face masks, social/physical distancing and frequent disinfection.
