Health Workers have until Sunday evening to finish the distribution of the modified quarantine passes to the households of their assigned clustered puroks now that the ECQ has been extended by the provincial government.
In a meeting last Thursday, Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the Inter-Agency Task Force COVID-19, instructed all Barangay Health Workers to be responsible in the distribution of the modified resident passes to the households before they take effect on Monday, April 20, 2020.
This is to reduce the burden of the Barangay officials, who are currently focusing on the Social Amelioration Program with the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Assistant City Administrator Dr. Dinno T. Depositario and City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla also fielded questions to guide the BHWs in performing this important task as front-liners.
Once a resident receives his or her quarantine pass, the BHW must record the name of the recipient and control number for easy reference.
Hence, the residents are enjoined to wait for their quarantine passes in their homes.
