About 146 large boxes filled with assorted medical supplies that will be used by the front liners battling the possible spread of COVID-19 in Dumaguete City have arrived this afternoon.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the Inter-Agency Task Force COVID-19 and Councilor Joe Kenneth Arbas personally lead the team in unloading the cargoes from a Philippine Air Force plane.
The boxes are filled with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), thermal scanners, facial masks, alcohol, gloves, googles and other needed supplies for the City Health Office.
The first shipment of medical supplies arrived Sunday on board a chartered flight.
Mayor Remollo appreciates the efforts of his friends from Manila and Cebu who facilitated the special trip.
Our salute to the PAF Commanding General Lt. General Allen Paredes and the pilots for their benevolent gesture.
Together, we can win the fight against COVID-19!
