Volunteers from the Filipino-Chinese Fire Brigade teamed up with personnel from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force COVID-19 to disinfect the major streets and public places this evening using the fire engines.

Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Task Force, said that the teams will continue to disinfect public places and streets daily until the threat of COVID-19 will be eliminated.

Among the areas that were already disinfected previously were the city hall compound, public market, churches, hospitals, city pier, city streets, malls, stores, parks, government offices and other public places.
