Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo signed Executive Order No. 14-A clarifying which business establishments would close and cease operations at 8:00 o’clock in the evening and 12:00 midnight. They may resume operations starting at 5:00 o’clock in the morning.

E.O 14-A provides that “Commercial establishments normally operating on a 24/7 scheme, such as restaurants, food chains, grocery stores, eateries and bakeries shall close at 12:00 midnight to resume operations at 5:00 AM the next day. Provided, that at the strike of 8:00 o’clock in the evening dining-in would cease and only takeout orders shall be served.”

Meanwhile, “commercial establishments that normally close at 12 midnight shall cease operations and shut down every 8:00 o’clock in the evening and resume operations the next morning at 5:00 AM.”

City Chief-of-Police Lt. Col. Wilfredo Alarcon Jr., has been requested to ensure the consistent enforcement of the Executive Order and enlist the assistance of the auxiliary police and Barangay Tanods for the said purpose.
