Work immersion students from 8 schools joined hundreds of City Government Workers in today’s flag raising ceremony at the Quadrangle.

Vice-Mayor Alan Gel Cordova, Assistant City Administrator Dr. Dinno T. Depositario, Negros Oriental Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Senen P. Paulin and Dr. Gregorio Cyrus R. Elejorde spoke before the gathered workers and students.

Councilor Bernice Elmaco, department heads and officers of the Bureau of Fire Protection and Dumaguete City Police Station were also present.

Senior High School students from Dumaguete City High School, Negros Oriental High School, Taclobo National High School, Piapi High School, Colegio De Santa Catalina De Alejandria, Junob National High School, Camanjac National High School and Songsil Agapia International High School are currently serving in different offices as part of the work immersion program so they could experience and fully appreciate public governance and service.
